Even though it's mid-afternoon here, it's early morning back home, so our gift to him is to let him sleep a while longer before we wake him with our rousing rendition of the happy birthday song. The calling and the singing of the birthday song is a tradition he began quite a while back and no birthday in our family would be complete without it now.
